Walmart Launches Canopy

As many of you know, prior to Acceptx Financial Solutions, I worked with my brother Brady as an investor through our small firm Blake Capital, LLC.  Brady had an opportunity to join the marketing team of WalMart and so he moved to their headquarters in Bentonville, AR about 15 months ago.

Working on million dollar deals is much different than working on billion dollar deals.  Yesterday, I received in the mail a beautiful catalog that my daughters started browsing through.  The catalog was for Canopy, and I said, “that is the new brand Brady help launch.”  My daughters couldn’t believe it was a Wal-Mart brand…. see the line here.

Congratulations to Brady for launching what is anticipated to be a billion dollar brand — that is zero to a billion in probably a year’s time.
